Tamara de Lempicka Tribute

For the International Design class I had to design a tribute to Tamara de Lempicka, an awesome Art Deco painter. I love her use of muted colors with a few pops of color always on the main subject of the painting and also the emphasis she gives to female faces. I used an old drawing I'd done a while ago and gave it a more art deco/lempicka look.

This is a kinda old illustration I had lying around, so I decided to play with it in Illustrator. I posted two versions: one with a black border & one without it, because I could never decide which one I liked best. I'll probably try to make stickers and stationery with it once I figure out how to do those things.
